Welcome to Launch to Lead Engineering. By booking and participating in our coaching services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Description
Launch to Lead Engineering provides professional career coaching services for engineers and technology professionals. Our primary offering is:
- The Launch Path: Career coaching for college students and early-career engineers (resume development, interview preparation, job search strategy). Includes 3 coaching sessions delivered over 21 days.
Future Offerings: We plan to offer additional coaching tracks in the future, including Pivot Path (career transitions) and Accelerate Path (leadership coaching). These will be announced when available.
All coaching sessions are 90 minutes long, delivered via video conference (Zoom or Google Meet).
2. Payment Terms
Pricing: The Launch Path is $1,997 USD. Current pricing and package details are displayed on our Packages page.
Payment Options: We offer two payment structures:
- Pay in Full: Pay $1,997 upfront to schedule all sessions immediately.
- Payment Plan: Pay in 3 installments of $699 each.
Payment Methods: At this time, we accept Zelle or Venmo. We do not accept credit cards at this time.
Strategy Session: Before purchasing any package, you'll have a free 15-minute strategy session to discuss your goals and answer any questions about pricing and payment.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Client Cancellations: You may cancel or reschedule a session with at least 24 hours advance notice without penalty. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be considered a completed session and no refund or rescheduling will be provided.
No-Shows: If you miss a scheduled session without prior notice, it will be counted as a completed session.
Coach Cancellations: If I need to cancel or reschedule due to illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances, I'll provide as much notice as possible and work with you to reschedule at no additional cost.
4. Intellectual Property
All materials provided during coaching sessions (templates, frameworks, examples, documents, resources) remain the intellectual property of Launch to Lead Engineering. You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use these materials for your own career development only. You may not share, sell, reproduce, or distribute these materials to others.
5. Confidentiality
I respect your privacy and will keep all information shared during our coaching sessions confidential. However, confidentiality has limits:
- Information may be shared if required by law or legal process
- Anonymized examples may be used in marketing materials or success stories (with your explicit permission only)
- I reserve the right to seek professional consultation or supervision while maintaining your anonymity
6. No Guarantee of Outcomes
While I'm committed to providing strategic guidance, proven frameworks, and dedicated support, I cannot and do not guarantee specific career outcomes such as:
- Job offers from specific companies
- Salary increases or promotion timelines
- Interview success rates
- Hiring decisions made by employers
Your success depends on multiple factors including your effort, market conditions, employer decisions, economic factors, and circumstances outside my control. Coaching provides strategies and support—results depend on your implementation.
7. Limitation of Liability
Launch to Lead Engineering and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our coaching services. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for lost employment opportunities, lost income, or career setbacks.
Our maximum liability to you for any claims related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific package in question.
8. Termination
Your Right to Terminate: You may discontinue coaching services at any time. Refunds will be handled according to our Refund Policy (see below).
Our Right to Terminate: We reserve the right to terminate the coaching relationship if:
- Payment terms are not met
- You repeatedly miss scheduled sessions without notice
- Behavior is disrespectful, abusive, or inappropriate
- It becomes clear that coaching is not a good fit
9. Dispute Resolution
If you have concerns or disputes regarding our services, please contact us directly at contact@launchtolead.io. We'll work in good faith to resolve any issues. If a resolution cannot be reached through direct communication, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

- Video Conferencing: Zoom, Google Meet (subject to their privacy policies)
- Email Communications: Google Workspace (subject to Google's privacy policy)

- Salary increases or compensation changes
- Interview success rates or callbacks
- Career transition success within a specific timeframe
- Manager approval or organizational decisions
Success depends on your implementation of strategies, market conditions, employer decisions, economic factors, company culture, timing, and many other variables outside our control.
2. Not an Employment Service
We are not:
- A recruiting agency or headhunter
- Your employer, agent, or representative
- A job placement service
- Affiliated with any specific companies or hiring managers
We provide coaching and guidance. You are responsible for implementing strategies, applying for positions, networking, and managing your own career.
3. Not Legal or Financial Advice
Our coaching services are focused on career development and professional growth. We do not provide:
- Legal advice regarding employment law, contracts, or workplace disputes
- Financial advice regarding investments, tax planning, or retirement
- Mental health counseling or therapy
- Technical certifications or accredited education
If you need legal, financial, mental health, or other specialized professional services, please consult appropriately licensed professionals.
4. Individual Results Vary

- Manager Behavior: Poor management, bias, personality conflicts

- Hiring practices, ATS systems, and interview formats change constantly

- Strategies that worked for others may not work for you
You should verify information and adapt strategies to your specific circumstances.

Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines our approach to refunds, cancellations, and satisfaction commitments.
1. General Refund Policy
Services are non-refundable once delivered. This means:
- Completed coaching sessions cannot be refunded
- Payment for attended sessions is final
- Materials and resources provided during sessions remain non-refundable
This policy protects both parties and ensures committed engagement in the coaching process.

Requirements: To qualify for this guarantee, you must:
- Attend all scheduled coaching sessions
- Complete all assigned exercises and homework between sessions
- Actively participate in the coaching process
- Communicate any concerns before the final session

3. First Session Evaluation
After your first coaching session:
- If you feel the coaching isn't a good fit, please let me know immediately
- We'll discuss your concerns and determine if adjustments can address them
- If we mutually agree that coaching isn't the right solution, we'll work together to find an alternative approach
- In exceptional circumstances where the coaching relationship clearly isn't working, we may offer a partial resolution on remaining sessions
Note: The first session itself is non-refundable, but we want to ensure you're comfortable continuing before moving forward with the rest of your package.
4. Unused Sessions
Package Not Started:
- If you haven't attended any sessions yet, you may request a refund
- A processing fee (10% or $50, whichever is less) may be deducted for administrative costs
- Request must be made at least 48 hours before your first scheduled session
Package Partially Completed:
- Completed sessions are non-refundable
- Remaining unused sessions may be eligible for partial credit toward future services or adjusted packages
- Contact us to discuss options if you need to discontinue coaching mid-package
5. Payment Plan Considerations
Split Payment Plans:
- If you stop payment after the first installment, access to remaining sessions is suspended
- The first payment covers completed sessions; no refund is provided
- To resume, you must complete the remaining payment
Pay in Full Packages:
- You've paid upfront for all sessions
- Completed sessions are non-refundable
- Contact us if circumstances change and you need to pause or adjust your package
6. Force Majeure & Exceptional Circumstances
If unforeseen circumstances prevent us from delivering your coaching services:
- Coach Unavailability: If I become unable to provide services due to illness, emergency, or other circumstances, you'll receive a refund for undelivered sessions
- Technical Issues: If persistent technical problems prevent session delivery, we'll reschedule at no additional cost or provide alternative solutions
- Major Life Events: If you experience significant life changes (medical emergency, relocation, etc.) that prevent participation, contact us to discuss options
7. No-Show & Cancellation Policy
As outlined in our Terms of Service:
- Late Cancellations: Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are considered completed and non-refundable
- No-Shows: Missed sessions without prior notice are counted as completed and non-refundable
- Proper Cancellation: Cancel at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule without penalty
8. Dispute Resolution Process
If you have concerns about value, service quality, or billing:

- Step 3: We'll work together in good faith to find a resolution that addresses your concerns

9. Chargeback Policy
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks have significant costs and administrative burden. If you have billing concerns:
- Contact us first to resolve the issue directly
- We'll work quickly to address legitimate billing errors
- Unauthorized chargebacks may result in termination of services and collection of owed amounts
10. Our Commitment
While our refund policy protects both parties, here's what you can always count on:
